About Us
Harmony123 is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (EIN: 33-4162447) that unites musicians and artists worldwide to perform music and create art for charitable causes. Ernest Zhang and Ethan Zhang founded this group when they began performing for seniors at the Mayflower Retirement Community in Winter Park in 2016, and in 2025, the organization formally incorporated as a New Jersey nonprofit organization. Since 2016, over 150 youth and professional musicians and artists from 4 countries and 10 US states have joined the group. After the unfortunate arrival of COVID, Harmony123 became one of the first groups to overcome the challenges of social distancing by performing online live concerts via Zoom, and expanded to nursing homes and performers all over the world.

Core Members
Ethan Zhang is Co-Founder and Global Head of Harmony123. He has been playing the bass guitar and drums since five years old. He has performed in significant events and venues such as playing a bass solo at an NBA game halftime show in Orlando, Florida, and playing at the iconic Esplanade Concert Hall in Singapore. He was a two-time alumnus of the Florida All State Elementary Orff Ensemble. His favorite genres of music are rock and jazz. He lives in Singapore
Laura Wu is US Head of Harmony123. She plays the piano and has won awards for folk and ballet dances. She has organized numerous events in Central New Jersey and online, and often serves as the MC.
Ernest Zhang is Co-Founder and President of Harmony123. He was the guitarist for the professional jazz band Orlando Big Band and the drummer for the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra Jazz Band. He was selected to be a percussionist in the Florida All State Middle School Concert Band. He had played numerous performances in Orlando, Singapore, and California. His favorite genres of music are rock, blues, and jazz. He lives in Stanford, CA.
Justin Tang is Regional Head of US Northeast and Art Director of Harmony123. He is an award-winning painter and has curated and donated artworks for auctions benefiting local school in need. He lives in Central New Jersey.
Angela Du is Regional Head of New Jersey. She is an award-winning vocalist. She is a Jacobson Scholar, a cappella enthusiast, and a choir leader at her high school. She has been performing with Harmony123 since 2023 both in person and online.
Allen Ma is Director of Fundraising, NJ and District Head of Mercer County, NJ. He was also NJ Neighborhood Outreach Lead for the 2025 "Leave No Kid Hungry" Food and Winter Clothing Donation Drive. He enjoys improvising on the piano, playing drums, and singing. His favorite music genres are pop and K pop. He lives in Princeton, New Jersey.
Anyi Gu is Regional Head of New York. She is an All-County vocalist, an active member in her High School's multiple choir groups, and she performs in every musical production they put on. Beyond that, Anyi enjoys reading, painting, and community service.
Scarlet Jia is Regional Head of Hawaii. She enjoys making arts, especially ceramics and hand-decorated letters. She enjoys bringing people together through organizing events and creating activities. Scarlett lives in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Frances Yong has been playing the violin since the 4th grade. She participates in school orchestra, performs for special events such as weddings, and is part of the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra. Outside of this she plays a bit of piano and enjoys supporting charities she believes in. She lives in Boston, MA.
Philip Yong was former Regional Head, US Southeast, of the group. He has been playing Viola since fifth grade. He has performed in Florida State Youth Orchestra and Florida All-State and has played at special events along with his twin sister(Frances Y) and his other friends. Other than playing Viola and making music, Philip enjoys attempting at making food and playing tennis. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
Isabel Yang is Regional Head of Southeast and Art Co-Director of Harmony123. She is a nationally recognized youth artist, having received multiple Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for her compelling visual storytelling and expressive design. Her work often delves into themes of identity and emotional depth. Passionate about the intersection of art, medicine, and advocacy, Isabel uses her artistic voice to amplify personal and collective narratives. She lives in Florida.
Jacob Gallan is a regional head of Harmony123 in Orlando. He has played violin with the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra and also enjoys playing both piano and violin. Music has been a meaningful part of his life for many years, and he loves using his talents to serve his school and community. Jacob is grateful for the opportunity to serve as a regional head of Harmony123 in Orlando. He looks forward to leading new projects, supporting members, and continuing to share music that brings encouragement and joy to others.
Nolan Fineman is a regional head of Harmony123 in Orlando. He is a Senior at Lake Highland Preparatory School in Orlando, Florida. He is the concertmaster of his school orchestra and participates in all manner of performances, including musicals, cultural holidays, and charity drives. He has been a member of the highest level of Florida State Youth Orchestra for two years. He has also been nominated for the All-State Florida Honors Orchestra three times, earning the distinction of concertmaster during the 2026 performance. Nolan looks forward to sharing his musical talents with his community.
Arjun Patel has been a member of Harmony123 since seventh grade. As an internationally award-winning young pianist, he has performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall, Kaufman Music Center, and The Plaza Live. His musical path began early, when he earned the Featured Performer Award at the Orange County Public School Foundation’s Top Talent Show in second grade. This fundraiser, which supported arts education for students facing poverty and homelessness, sparked his interest in using music to give back to his community. Along with piano, Arjun has played the cello in his school’s orchestra since fifth grade. As a Florida resident, he appreciates how Harmony123 can blend the power of music with volunteerism and charitable acts to create meaningful impact both locally and globally.
Ellen Wu was former Regional Head, US Northeast of the group. She started to play the flute in fifth grade, and participates in her school band and orchestra, along with the NJ All States band and orchestra. Besides the flute, Ellen also likes listening to pop and kpop, and plays a little bit of piano. She lives in Boston.
Shannon Corcoran is a fifth-generation New Orleans musician who is the guitarist and vocalist of the Orlando Big Band. She plays in a variety of venues, including the Dr. Philips Center. She also spreads her expertise through teaching students in the Central Florida Area. She lives in Orlando, Florida.
Shasha has been playing piano and cultivating a passion for music for almost a decade. She loves performing for the seniors at nursing homes. Outside of school, Shasha enjoys writing and aims to be a published novelist. She lives in Winter Park, Florida.
