Donation Drives to Support Children in Senegal Villages
Harmony123 has recently partnered with Africa Cries Out, a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing access to healthcare, education, and nutrition in Senegal villages in west Africa. Africa Cries Out (ACO) has organized annual medical mission trips for more than a decade to the severely impoverished leper village of Fatiga and other nearly villages, located 700 km from Dakar, Senegal. What began as a small mission 13 years ago has now grown into a team of more than 100 participants, including over 20 doctors, 60 youth volunteers, and 20 parents, many of whom return year after year. Together, the mission teams have built two local hospitals and clinics, established organic farms, and created both elementary and technology schools, transforming the community’s access to healthcare, education, and sustainable development.
ACO has reached out to Harmony123 for two urgent unmet needs before their 2026 Medical Mission in March. In response, Harmony123 has organized two donation drives to benefit children and families living in highly impoverished areas of West Africa:
1. "Medicine for Africa" Donation Drive:
Harmony123 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run by volunteers who take no compensation. Every dollar and every donation will go to support charitable causes. For inquiries, please email us.

1. "Medicine for Africa" Donation Drive:
- Need: one month supply of daily vitamin for 1000 children (a total of 30,000 vitamin pills) so that children and families suffering from starvation can at least get enough essential minerals and vitamins, and 10,000 Over-the-Counter pain killers/fever reducers.
- To do: raise the money, source the medicine, and deliver to Dr. Jun Xu of Africa Cries Out who will deliver the medicine to Senegal on their 2026 Medical Mission in March.
- Need: Goodie bags for 600 school-age children in six villages, each including a notebook, two pencils, one eraser, two balloons, and three lollipops; a soccer, volleyball, and air pump for each village.
- To do: raise $1400 for Africa Cries Out which will purchase the supplies at Senegal local stores on their 2026 Medical Mission in March.
